Fish for Halibut in Homer, Alaska
Halibut fishing out of Homer offers some of the finest, most consistent fishing Alaska has to offer. Our vast fishing ground in Lower Cook Inlet and Kachemak Bay produces halibut of all sizes and it is an extremely rare day that anyone fishing does not get their limit of two halibut.
We are always on the lookout for exciting action whether it is hooking into a big monster fish to catch, photo and release, trying to fill the freezer with the delectable white fish, or just enjoying the most action available; you will have the time of your life.
Halibut run deep, shallow, they like the rocks and flat sandy bottom. They can be anywhere, giving us endless opportunities to seek them out depending on weather, tides, and scenic destinations. Typical fish run in the 15-40 lb range, but we all have the photos to prove what can really be ready to bite your hook at any given time…so be prepared!
Fish with an experienced captain who will help you get the best catch (even if you have no fishing experience!). Our charters are professionally operated and we are here to help you catch fish with our experienced, friendly crew. We will provide you with all the equipment, bait, fish filleting (which will be done on board and ready for you when you leave the boat). Fish processing is available back at the dock so you can send your fresh catch of halibut home.
*We have minimums on all of our charters and on occasion we will work with other qualified charter companies to insure that you will get out fishing on the schedule you request.
