Long Range Overnight Charters & Spring Black Bear Hunts

Long range trips are now available through North Country Charters for those avid fisherman with the time and desire to fish pristine grounds where the days fishing is bound to bring the likes of fishing you have only dreamt about. During the long range trips you will travel along the coastline of Kachemak Bay and down into the entrance to Lower Cook Inlet to Shuyak Island. Shuyak Island offers incredible fishing ……. shallow water where you are typically fishing in 45-60ft. of water and using only a 1# sinker…beautifully scenic…

The long range trips can be tailored to you preference. Most are 3 days departing at 6:30am and returning by mid-afternoon of the third day. Besides 30 years of charter experience, 20 years out of the Homer area, you are provided with brand new tournament grade rods and reels using Power Pro Line, the boat has a 10,000 pound insulated fish hold with ice to properly take care of your cleaned fish. The charters include your food, which is prepared by your captain who goes all out and takes great pleasure in the food detail starting the morning with a big breakfast, casual full lunch and BBQ steaks or fish in the evening, in a secluded calm bay.

$2000 per day for the boat + tax

Spring Bear Hunts along the outer coast of the Kenai Mountain range provides some of the best black bear hunting Alaska has to offer and it is right in our back yard. These unguided hunts are offered on the Coastal Predator from May 1 through the 1st week of June Monday through Friday for a maximum of 4 passengers. Excellent halibut and rockfish fishing available from the boat during the trip is an added element to the ultimate Alaskan adventure. All food for the trip is provided and prepared by your captain.
