Experience the Bay - With dependable water taxi service you have access to the remote Kachemak Bay State Park. You can customize a trip to fit your own schedule where a variety of adventures await you!
- Trails throughout the State Park allow you to explore the mountains, glaciers and streams. View the bay from up top a mountain ridge, hear the birds and spy the wildlife. These trails range from easy, popular family hikes to moderate and difficult based on length and steepness. There is something for everyone, knowing your abilities are a must.
- Campsites are available for overnight hikers. There are public use cabins, private cabins and yurts, all accessible by water taxi upon advanced reservations.
Beaches throughout the bay are used as launching points for your kayak adventure. Experienced kayakers can bring their own or rented kayaks and overnight or just launch from their favorite beach for safe access to the fjords across the bay.
- Clamming at remote beaches for succulent butter or steamer clams is a fun activity. We will drop you off according to the tide schedule, returning for pick up as scheduled. Must provide your own boots, buckets and shovels.
- Bike some of the old remote logging roads across the bay. Peddle from Jakalof to Seldovia for a rewarding scoop of ice cream before your return pick up with the water taxi back to Homer.
